I recently upgraded to a 780ti and had no issues till I started playing bf4. It will kid up fine and I can play for a few min till the computer freezes. It still displays a picture but is unresponsive forcing me to shut it down. I didn't have this problem till I upgraded to the 780ti from my r9 270x and I only have the problem on bf4. I assume it's the power supply because bf4 is my most demanding game and it's the only time I have a problem. I know the cx 600 is a pretty week psu so I wouldn't mind upgrading I just wanna make sure it may not be another problem like a failing motherboard.

the only error i get is a kernel power error when i force shutdown and my gpu average temps under 96% load is 70c and my cpu under 67% load is 48c

Hey sorry for the late response didn't have a chance to work on it till now. According to the log it stayed above 1.8 on light use but right when i hoped in a game of bf4 it dipped below 1.7 and stayed at around 1.6 to 1.5 till the computer crashed. So its safe to say its the power supply then right?
