Hi, I've been struggling with an issue for several days now. Basically I booted up my computer after it's been off for several hours and the computer hang on boot. Sometime it hangs before I can get to the BIOS sometime it's when windows is loading.

I tried to test the basics(memtest, cpu voltages, removing extra ram) nothing worked but after like 1 or 2 hours of tries I had a successful boot and did not experienced the problem until the computer got cold again.

What component could it be?

Spec:
Evga nvidia 780i/Intel Q6600
6 gig of Corsair DDR2 800
Corsair 1000 Watts PW
Nvidia 460gtx video card

Solution
If it happens before you can even get into the bios, that probably rules out Video card or drives or ram, i'd say the PSU and the Mobo are the most probable culprits.
I'm pretty confident on the PSU, the voltages are good and if I can boot into the OS I don't get any problems in game.
I will take a guess on the motherboard, ill repost here when the new one is installed.
