I'm currently using a TP-Link TL-WN822N 300mb wireless adapter on windows7 and an xfinity brand router. The distance between the computer and router is about 15-20 feet, however the signal has always been decent. For a while now it has cut out and reconnecting has been the only reliable solution, I had tried other things but none has been able to fix it.
Within the last week or two I had been getting warnings of conflicting IP addresses in my network, but I'm lazy and often unable to fix computer problems. After three attempts at separate solutions I eventually gave up.
Now however I think it's probably affecting me, as I can't connect whatsoever to the network. A ten second router restart did not fix my problems, and troubleshoot did what you'd expect of windows troubleshoot (Absolutely nothing)
I'm turning to this forum looking for help. Is this a common thing with this TP-Link model, or is it just that my router is that terrible? Should I get my router replaced or my wireless adapter. Or is it maybe software sided and I'm just stupid.
