Fairly quiet cooler for e6400 on a budget.

I am looking to build a e6400 c2d/ds3 machine and plan
to moderately overclock the cpu to 3.2GHz. While the e6400
OC article says one can get away with the stock intel cooler
up to 3.1GHz, I wonder if the fan is going to be noisy.

So I am looking for a reasonably priced cooler that has
slightly better performance than stock and runs appreciably
quieter. Anything cheaper than an Arctic Freezer Pro 7 that
will do a decent job?

I would still recommand the freezer 7, it is really quiet..I don't think you should try to save 10-15$ on an aftermarket cooler. Either stick with stock or gor AC Freezer 7

Try blowing on the top of the IHS when its on load... No, $/performance wise it doesnt get any better than that. You should have catched one when therye half price about a week ago...
