Looking for suggestions. This "1060" only works correctly on gtx500 drivers. I ran the P/N on memory modules and it adds up to 8gb! Windows still reads it as a 1060 3gb though. The P/N on the gpu is scratched off, but i was able to use this one- pks920.MO1

Its one of those XHVGA cards from China. About $70. I knew it was probably going to have some issues. More of an experiment i guess lol. So my question is that since this is a 500 series gpu, would I be able to activate the extra gddr5 with another bios? Are there any other ways besides nvflash to do that? i tried 3 versions of nvflash and nothing worked. It blows my mind that there are 8gb on a 500 gpu though lol

update! The PKS920.M31 is a N12E-GE2-B-A1 DC12 which is a 560(m)? Can a laptop gpu work on a desktop card pcb?
