Hi everyone!

I recently took a chance and bought a GPU from eBay. Long story short, I got a NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti disguised as a GTX 1050 for a low price.

Paypal quickly refunded and now I've got a card to essentially play around with. So I've been researching ways to flash this card back to the factory BIOs since the card thinks it has 2GB of VRAM, when it only has 1GB which causes crashes once 1GB is exceeded.

All software tools that I've tried so far (GPU-Z, HWinfo, Speccy) report the card as a GTX 1050 and I have no idea how to see the real manufacturer of the card to use NVflash to flash it back to stock BIOs so I can at least use my ryzen system with some sort of stability.

Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks for your time
