Question Fake Facebook Login Page?

I went to my Facebook. I normally don't have to enter my login info, but this time I did. I didn't enter anything but reloaded it and cleared my browsing history. I can't reproduce this page, no matter how many times I load FB. This only ever happened once. Am I okay?

so long as you did not enter any info, then you should be fine.

sounds like you were paying attention and caught on before you gave anything away.

do you happen to note where you were before getting to this page? was it a link you clicked or other than normal way you launched the page?

Also, if you have not heard, Facebook/Meta is reportedly laying off thousands of employees.

Very likely that there will be quite a number of problems with the website for any number of reasons in the days/weeks ahead.

And very likely the bad guys will take advantage and make some efforts to imitate Facebook/Meta in some manner.

Agree with @ Math Geek: regarding Facebook/Meta - everyone needs to pay attention and watch what information is being asked for or required.

Some variations on "our database was damaged - please confirm your login name and password....."

Even if it was a PHPing site... If you clear cookies, history etc and login again on the real Facebook page to change the password you will be ok. You probably gave your user away.
