Fake GTX 780TI?

I saw this on ebay. Just search the thing on ebay. Honestly, it looks a little sketchy to me. I was wondering what a public version and if anyone can give me some advice. Thanks.

It would be optimal to see a link for that product, but it doesn't look legit, you're right. Mostly because of the fact that it is a GTX 780 Ti but supposedly running off of 1GB (I'm assuming that is what the 1G means, since it comes after DDR5, which I also assume they meant to say GDDR5) of VRAM, while a standard 780 Ti comes with 3GB at lowest.

E-Bay needs to be held accountable at some point.

I refuse to purchase from them. I bought a fake item once but I had to deal with Paypal. Paypal just said to file a grievance with the seller. When I did that he gave me back my money and that's the end of it.

I'm also starting to see questionable links on Amazon as well.

Why would ebay be held accountable? its the seller who should be held accountable, the seller is selling you the stuff and only someone stupid would actually fall for this scam.

1) First of all, it doesn't make somebody "stupid" to fall for these, especially for the items that use pictures that are 100% of the real item.

2) Secondly, when you get a particular product that people keep commenting on saying it's FAKE then who is going to do something about it?

3) Thirdly, E-Bay has already been sued and lost for this very type of thing but they knowingly keep doing it provided what they make exceeds their court losses.

If E-Bay was selling DRUGS or letting their pages be used for child prostitution do you think they should be held accountable then?

I get if a FEW items got by them, but the site is infested with illegal products. There are several ways that they could significantly reduce the amount of this but nobody is putting the pressure on them to do it. It's up to people like us to force the authorities to do so.

*Finally, this entire industry puts money in the hands of some very bad people. You might want to do some research on that...

Because ebay is the auction service they too should be held accountable. Letting fakes on ebay hurts everybody that uses the service.

E-bay is not a retailer that you can blame stuff on...its the people who buy/sell. it doesnt matter if the pictures are real. it literally says the so called GTX 780Ti has 1GB Video mem, 192 shaders. now you tell me did Geforce ever make this GPU?

Yea but the seller is not giving false information either, that item probably does have those specs, and the seller just named the item GTX 780 Ti to get some attention.

Also, I went to the feedback section of the sellers page and looked up the two people who bought the item. Note that both buyers gave positive feedback.

Lol ik what the seller did, he basically made another account and sold the item to himself and gave a feedback.
