Hello,
Im thinking about buying DDR4 HyperX Fury ram on ebay and im not sure if the ram im looking at is fake or real. Im looking to get 8gb (2x4) 2666mhz for £36 ($45).
Im a bit suspicious because in the item description its listed as unbranded.
Thanks

Those are shipping directly from China/Hong Kong, not from a UK or US retailer. You would have no warranty agreement with Kingston if you bought those and I can tell you that from past experience having purchased China packaged Kingston products through Ebay. I'd stick to an actual UK vendor. Once you go outside your region you also increase the chances that you will get inferior memory that simply has had the Kingston heatsinks installed on them. I would avoid it regardless that the price might be attractive.

When the price is too good to be true, it usually, almost always, is.

This would be a much better, safer option, that does not involve taking any chances.
