Fallout 3 crashing to desktop. Help?

Ok, so I am very confused here. I honestly have no idea as to what is causing my game to crash the way it is. One second I will be wandering the wasteland and the next the game crashes saying "Fallout 3 has stopped working". I have patched the game so it can use more than 2gb RAM. My system specs are:
Intel Core i5 4690k
16gb DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX 1050ti

does it crash if you removed all the mods?

Remove mods one at a time OR the other way around, disable all mods and enable one at a time. Til game doesn't crash anymore/til game crashes again.
