Fallout 3 crashing when start windows xp

Hello,

fallout 3 doesnt want to work and i dont have the ffdshow folder thingy ppl is talking about cuz i bought it from steam i just ******* spent 30$ on a game that doesnt even ******* work and the support is *** and doesnt tell me how to resolve it IM ******* PISSED

Set the compatibility of the launch file for the game to Windows XP. It should work.

you need to be more specific about the problem you are having rather than going on a crazy rant. http://www.tech-forums.net/pc/f15/fallout-3-crash-desktop-solution-here-189880/ your solution may be here if its something to do with ffdshow. If you have any codec packs installed, i would remove them, seem to always cause issues with my computers. Please tell us your full system specs, that may also help solve the issue.

You haven't listed your PC specs.
