Fallout 3 crash's with golden ones

Whenever I fight a golden one ghoul(not normal ghouls) the game crashes after a short while. It's almost like it's on a timer but it seems random, I solved the problem a whilke back by just killing it quicker(works for almost everything😛) but i've had to do it again and with 2 it's annoying and I would like a perminant fix.

I had a texture mod installed but disabling it seemed to do nothing and no other mods I have should affect them in any way.

Yeah...try no mods at all and see if the problem goes away.

Killing a creature doesn't just interact with textures and art assets. There are event scripts, loot tables, audio files, AI reactions and other resources tied into the object.

All mods turned off still crashes.
