Hello,
This is a very strange issue and I have never come across anything like it before. I have installed Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition from a disk onto my PC (less than a month old) and when I launch the game, it will detect my hardware settings as usual and set them to Ultra High. Then I am given the options Play, Options, Data Files, Tech Support and Exit as usual. The problem comes when I hit Play, where it will look like it is launching the game, and then it will loop back to detecting hardware and setting graphics quality.
This happens when using the "FalloutLauncher.exe" and just using the normal "Fallout.exe", both with and without the disk in. I have re installed it once and followed Bethesda's advice running it in Windows XP Compatibility mode, and setting CPU Core use to 2 in the Fallout_default.ini file.
My main system specs are:
i7 4790 (non K)
Gigabyte GTX 750Ti
Plextor M6e M.2 Solid State Drive
Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
I greatly appreciate any help given, I am really stumped on this one.
Thankyou
