I want to play Fallout 4 at 1080p, mid-high settings, with about 50fps. I also want to keep it closer to $500. Are there some components that could be swapped out for cheaper parts? Thoughts?

You should buy a better SSD to use as your boot drive. If you buy a cheap one (SanDisk) it could die randomly. SSD is more important than you think. There's no way you can go cheaper.
