18gb triple channel RAM
2x Evga GTX 660 video cards sLi
120 gb SSD for OS
2x 300 gb WD velosaraptor HD in Raid 10 or High speed mode for my games
1TB wd hdd for non game applications
1TB wd hdd user files
1200w corsair PSU
Cooler Master case w/3 fans running instead of all 4

Every time I play Fallout 4 my pc will eventually crash. most of the time I get the, in short, your video card crashed message then minutes later the computer ends up rebooting too. One time i got a "possible GPU overheat" error Other times my computer just reboots. Sometimes the game will just freeze and i will either reset my pc or ctrl-alt-del out. My machine meets the minimum requirements and then some for the game. I have set my video options to lowest to the highest and the problem still persists. The intro video tends to be choppy when game starts but once game starts no problems until it crashes without warning every once and a while the audio will get scratchy or static ridden then it will crash, i usually will save and restart the computer. I have other computers that are below minimum requirements but don't crash, ever. they have some game play issues but otherwise very playable. any ideas Hopefully i gave enough info to get help

If you're gaming on three monitors, then you definitely want more GPU power than a couple of GTX 660s. I have a GTX 670 and have been weighing my upgrade options. SLI is the cheapest option for me, but these kinds of issues discourage me from pursuing that route. Good luck if you decide to upgrade.
Do you have any mods loaded? Have you tried turning off SLI just for Fallout 4? I've heard that Fallout 4 doesn't support SLI, but that may be old info.

EDIT: One more question - what model of Corsair PSU do you have? The CX line is one model you generall want to avoid, though I doubt they make a 1200w version.

Then it seems like SLI is the problem. As far as I can tell, there is no official SLI profile for Fallout 4. Getting the game to work properly with SLI support seems to be hit or miss. Some threads you can take a look at:

Perhaps some of the hacks they mention there can help you.

I suspected as much, i just wanted to hear it from someone else. It sucks to spend all this money on a nice gaming machine and the most basic setup is what works best. I will look into the links and hopefully find a solution that is better than turning off SLi. Reconfiguration of the Surround desktop on my triple monitor setup is a pain in the ass. I may just go to my GTX 980 video card and get out of SLi all together.
