Fallout : New Vegas vs The Witcher 3

Ok please help us settle this. Me and a colleague got into a debate the other day over which game is bigger (map and gameplay). I have not played the witcher 3 and he has not played new vegas. So which is it and which is better?

Witcher 3 (including DLC), one of the best games ever released in my opinion.

I was talking with a coulege the other day and while I have not played the witcher 3. I was curious which game was bigger in the sense of map size and gameplay. And just general comparison in any way would be cool.

New vegas: Post apocalyptic fps rpg with a low skill ceiling and stiff combat. Fun to play nice world good story and generally a good time.

Witcher 3: a fantasy EPIC with a really good sotry, highly engaging and fun combat rewarding skill over pure buttonmashing (depending on thedifficulty of said encounter). Also looks nice.

The witcher is the bigger of the 2 but can be travveld around quite fast if you are using certain ways of transportation (late game only). They both have really good sidequests and sidecharachters are actually memorable most of the time.

I cannot forgive myself for killing dettlaf 🙁. He was just a mentally unstable vampire who was used 🙁((( but a very good heart.
