I am getting false chassis intrusion alerts on my LH6000r, specifically the
I/O area cover. What can I do to prevent this?

Best,

Are you certain that they are false? Once the chassis intrusion switch
is tripped, the system will continue to report the event until the
CMOS bit for the intrusion is reset.

I don't know what a "LH6000r" is, but every system I've worked with that
supports chassis intrusion detection has a CMOS setup option to turn
off the POST-time warning.

I am anwering my own post for archival purposes. Turns our the LH6000 has a
light sensors for intrusion detection, and I have the unit on a test bench
near a window. Putting a shroud over the rear of the server stopped the
false alerts.

Thanks,
Harry
