Hey,

When installing some programs, such as Office 365 and spotify I get an error message that I do not have enough free space. I have run every test I could find online, looked up every thread on here and tried it, but I just can't get rid of the error.

I have enough space, RAM storage should be sufficient. But still, no joy.

The specs of my PC:

Lenovo H535s
AMD A10-6700
8 GB ram
VRAM: AMD radeon 8670D.
HD: 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 (SATA)

So far I have tried to the windows memory test, checked with rammap, uninstalled several programs. I tried a bunch of other programs to test the RAM and HD as well. According to all these tests, there isn't any problem. Yet installing those 2 programs still isn't possible.

At this moment I have 601 GB free space on my HD, and 4,6GB RAM should be available according to the taskmanager and speccy.

Does anyone has any suggestions?

Little bit later. I tried to find anything with the errors via the Lenovo website, but it didn't work out. Since I really needed office asap, I decided to do a factory reset. After the reset, everything worked without problems again.

Thank you for your help though!!
Look at your Event logs and the entries regarding the attempted installations. Should be some information there and if you right click an entry to can get more details.

What is the source of the Office 365 and Spotify software? Download? Maybe corrupted and not recognizing that the system meets the requirements?

Thanks for the quick reply! The files I are directly from the official websites, so those should be fine.

I've been looking for the error message within the event logs, can't find the exact error though. However, there seems to be a consistent problem with the directory C: For example this one: 'Product: Lenovo QuickOptimizer -- Error 2707.Target paths not created. No path exists for entry SystemFolder in Directory table.'

Could that explain this?

Good possibility. Google Error2707 and check Lenovo's website (FAQs/Forums) re:QuickOptimizer.

See if anything turns up that you can identify with. No need to rush to a fix per. Need to figure it out in some detail if possible.

Also the Error 2707 is likely to result in a variety of websites claiming they can fix that Error via some download. - Do not do that because you have no control over what they might actually do.
