About two days ago I built a PC with Windows 10, with a SSD and a HDD. The problem is that everything I download gets saved on the SSD! Actually the SSD was intended only for Windows and the HDD for games etc.
What do I have to do to let everything get saved on the HDD.

There is no automatic way to do this that i am aware of. Open up your browser and go to settings. There you can change the default save location. You'll need to do this with each application you use that involves saving.

Same thing with installing programs, default will always be C

A cache?
Maybe he is referring to your TEMP and TMP folders, or the Page File! All three of those things will eat up your SSD space as well and should be moved, reduced, or eliminated.

You can find a lot of info on how to do these, search for things like "save space on SSD"
