My family has asked me to build a PC for them to use mainly for word processing/web browsing/schoolwork stuff, and my brother also wants to be able to game decently on it. I've chosen some preliminary parts that will cost a little over $500. We've already got a case, 500W PSU, 500GB HDD and optical drive.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5 3470
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston DDR3 1600
Graphics: Gigabyte GTX650 OC 1GB

Anyone got any suggestions about how I might be able to get a better performance/cost ratio happening or are there any parts that would cause a bottleneck or anything? Any general advice is appreciated too
