Fan cables question

Hi All,

So I just built my first PC successfully, except I got the wrong fans. The case has 2 fan controllers built in (Aero 500) however they are a 3 pin connection and my fans (CoolerMaster JetFlo) are a 4 pin connection. Just about to order an adapter but my case has 4 cables of which 2 are labelled "fan 1" and the others "fan 2". Do I need to have both connected to control the speed of the fans? Or will just plugging my fans into one of each suffice?

How many fans are you installing into the case?

Installed two intake fans into the front of the case. The motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M ds3h. By fan headers do you mean the fan slots on the motherboard? (Still new to this stuff). If so there was one cpu and one system fan which is taken up by the pre-installed rear fan.
