Fan control dead after Catalyst 14.4 install

Accepted the terms for overdrive, able to click in 'enable' box and move slider for the fan control, but nothing happens. Downloaded MSI afterburner, which works.

Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?

Using a powercolor 6970 X'fired with an unlocked 6950.

Gave up, uninstalled, went back to 13.2 (in which it worked), DDU'd it, and re-installed the whole shabang. Works and not gonna question it.

my catalyst version is 13.9 , it could control the fan speed , seems like V14 has a bug for 6000 series gpu
