Hey yall,
Just about to boot up my rig for the first time and I have all my case fans including my NZXT Kraken x63 AIO pump/fans connected to the NZXT Grid+ V3 fan controller which is controlled by the CAM software. Nothing is plugged into any of the mobo system fan headers, not even the Grid+ v3. Upon initial boot I have to Q-Flash the BIOS to update it and then restart and install Windows via USB Windows Media Creation Tool. Since everything is controlled via CAM which I have to install once my rig is up and running, how will all the fans know to start spinning? most importantly, my AIO which is liquid cooling my i7 9700k. Won't my CPU chip cook and fry with the heat it generates while I'm updating everything and installing Windows if the AIO fans and pump aren't on?
Edit: I just updated the BIOS via Q-Flash to see what would happen and none of the fans spun including the rad fans. So if that's the case, I'm assuming that they won't spin if I install Windows iso file via flash drive which could take quite a while. Would I run the risk of damaging my CPU at that point?
