There are a lot of things with 4 pins that are connectable. For example, 4 pin molex connectors, 4 pin PWM fan connectors as well as 4 pin EPS cables. Which one are we talking about. It'd be a good idea if you lay out the fan controller's make and model number as well as your PSU and the fans you'd like to connect in tandem.
When you connect fans to a fan controller, you are able to monitor the fans RPM and voltages but due to the nature of an AIO's construct the pump should either be running at max speeds or the rpm's dictated by the CPU_FAN header. I should stress though that the USB connector found on a PSU is meant for monitoring the fan and it's componentry not to regulate the fan within!
In short, you should leave the AIO as is...
