Fan controller not working?

I bought myself an NZXT sentry 2 fan controller to go with my z97 extreme 4 mobo.

I have 4 antec, 3pin, 120mm, blue LED fans to go with it and control. I cannot actually do that. For some reason when I do put it to lowest RPM nothing changes and on the fan controller it says that it is still going at random speeds, even though they are going at max speed. I can however, completely turn them off.

Could you please pass on the model number for your fans? Are you sure you've followed through with installation as stated in this review?

You may be interested in reading through this thread as it seemed to be somewhat similar for me with my Lamptron FC5 v2 wherein I couldn't get favorable speeds with a Scythe Jynui fan hooked to it. Don't get me wrong the fault was not the controllers to begin with the fan was, it just didn't like low voltages an it required a certain amount of power to get moving until you could tone it down a little. To that end I think your LED fans are the culprit here.

Perhaps if you had other fans worth hooking up to the fan controller then you could understand if the unit was defective...

Perhaps if you had other fans worth hooking up to the fan controller then you could understand if the unit was defective or is being choosy with what fans to run off it's connectors.
