I haven't really thought about this until now: what's a good fan controller? I have a stock E6300 cpu fan, 2x 120mm case fans, and 2x 90mm case fans. An extra one or two Silverstone FM121 120mm fan is on the way soon. I was wondering if there was any cool way to control all of these fans (if not most or some)? My case (Thermaltake Armor) doesn't have any fan controlling capabilties. Fast repsonse plz!!

Maybe you should try the search function of this forum next time and in particular this thread so I and other don't have to waste our time typing this shite out.

I didn't even knwo there was a search function :O
Thanks for tellin me though; I'll be sure to abuse it 😀

Search function sucks. :x I use this controller...i love it. It can handle up to 18v(couple big fans) x 3. The other good thing, is that the controller is infinitely variable(0-12v), whereas many controllers either offer just 2 settings(12v/7v) or are variable from 12v down to 7v(this is good for high quality fans that can run @ less than 7v). Also comes with 2 CCFL's if you like those. GL :)

PS. That's a nice price. I bought mine just over 2 years ago(in Canada), and it cost me $60 CAD. 8O

Dont buy a fan controller... they seem nifty at first... then you get one, and it may look cool, or plug into your hardware and run some nifty software, and then you find yourself with fans set at a specific speed, and you never touching the thing...

Spend your money on some REALLY good REALLY silent fans...

Vantec makes a 6 controller panel that can control 4 variable speed + 2 toggles. It's really nice, you might want to consider that.

I think a fan controller is very useful... especially if you game and watch movies on the same PC. When gaming, crank everything up, but when watching a movie or just doing homework, turn them all down a couple of notches.
