Fan controller short circuiting board?

Hey guys! I just recently built a pc. I have the asus rog strix e-gaming z390 mobo. And a cuk stratos case. With the case, came a controller for extra fan slots. I need to power up 4 fans with that controller. Is it possible that the controller is actually short circuiting my board? The computer will not turn on when everything is full plugged in.

Possibly.

Try to narrow down the circumstances:

Are you able to test the fans one by one? Plug in one and see if the computer starts.

Then the next fan, and the next.....

Or test each fan individually one by one?

May narrow down to one single fan or combination of fans.
