Fan Controller Without Temperature Sensor = Risky?

The fans on my computer (Gentle Typhoon) are still really loud and annoying when I'm not gaming.

I'm looking up for fan controllers but I don't fancy sticking all these temperature sensors all over my computer. Currently my pick would be the NZXT Sentry Mix 2

So is a fan controller without a temperature sensor dangerous?

How do I manage those fragile temperature sensors if I really decide to order one? They always fell off on my previous build, MERLIN"S BEARD!

I used fan controllers without the thermal sensors. I used mb temp sensors or hardware monitor to look at my temps then set the fans to a fixed speed. if your case has good fan placment and airflow most times fans at 1/2 speed will cool most gaming rigs.
