Fan Cooling. 2 In & 1 Out vs 1 In & 2 Out.

I have a very simple question. What would be better, Having 2 fans pull air into the case and have 1 fan pulling air out or, Having 1 fan pulling air in and 2 pulling out. What would be better?

More air going in, less air going out (for "positive" airflow). Assuming all 3 fans have the same airflow/fan design, then, 2 In & 1 Out.

1 In & 2 Out can also be achieved with "positive" airflow, that is, if your In fan has higher CFM compared to the total CFM of your 2 Out fans.

the first one is great on most cases, especially if the two fans pushing air in are dust filtered

if you can, make it a 2 in and 2 out, but that depends on the case you have there
