Fan direction issue

Hello, right I have no idea what's going on here. My CPU and GPU fans are spinning against the way the blades are designed to operate, so basically not sucking or blowing. Imagine a desk fan spinning counter clockwise doing nothing! I thought it was a faulty motherboard but the replacement is doing the same! I have swapped out the PSU to no avail what the hell is going on? this is a new build and the only untested part is the CPU? Could this be the problem? System boots up and runs fine but obviously will over heat.

you could cut the fan wires, trim the insulation and solder them the other way around, but that's pretty last resort.

could be fun though.

Yeah would be fun if you like fireworks and smoke signals.
Sorry, those fans can't be reversed by reversing wires, all you will succeed is to blow them up. If blades are angled at all it has to blow and suck.
