Fan inside the smps dont spin

Hi,

My monitor goes to sleep in between and dont wake up at.unless and until I turn the power supply off and restart the machine again.one thing i observed is there was some lot of noise coming from smps power suply when my machine was ok, but now the noise is stopped and the fan dont spin at all.

Maybe the noise was coming from the front fan and it was an indication of the fan going bad , so you can try pluging it into another connector and see if it will work and you may have to replace the fan.
As far as the monitor goes you can go into power management and change the settings so that the monitor stays on or you can set a wake on option.
