[SOLVED] Fan is not spinning on PSU

I had a EVGA 750 BQ, 80+ BRONZE 750W installed in my system. The fan stopped spinning so it overheated.

I just got back from the store and replaced it with a brand new CORSAIR - RMx Series 850W ATX12V 2.4/EPS12V 2.92 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply. I plugged everything in and turned on the system, guess what? The fan is NOT spinning on this power supply either.

I am unsure if a cable came loose but I am unsure of any external cable that needs plugged in to make the fan spin. Any ideas why the fans on my PSU's will not spin?

meaning that the PSU’s thermal circuitry will not even start the fan unless the additional cooling becomes necessary.

And it will not on an RM850x unless the PSU feels that it's hot enough to require active cooling.
