Fan on graphics card not working

Hello,

I have a fan on graphics card that is not working. I can unplug the cable to the fan from the graphics carc and plug the cable into a power socket and the fan works.

Hardware monitors such as CPUID show the fan running !

If I do any major grpahics the temp shoots to 99C and then the screen goes blank.

Any ideas ?

replace the card if its under warranty or get a new one

It is under warranty ASUS want the whole PC back, rather than just swapping the graphics card. i can stick a spare card in to keep me going, but dont want to lose the PC with the danger of having to reinstall everything.

I might just buy another card and not by ASUS again !
