[SOLVED] Fan on laptop always audible?

I have a Lenovo ideapad y700 with an Intel i7-6400HQ at 2.6 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, Windows 10 64 bit and for a while now the fan is always audible when it is in use or even only idle. I have also noticed that the back always gets very hot easily, I assume it is probably the CPU causing these issues but am unsure how to proceed. Any advice on what to check?

dust issues, when was the last time you cleaned it out. have a look at the temp using HWinfo, if its still very cool i.e 50-60oc after a while of use, it may be an issue with the fan profile. if its hot, then it may be a dust problem
