Radiator Support Front: Up to 280mm

Fan Support Front: 2 x 120/2 x 140mm
Top: 1 x 120mm (1 Aer F120 Case Version included) / 1 x 140mm
Rear: 1 x 120mm (1 Aer F120 Case Version included)

Putting a 280mm rad in the front. Case comes with 2x 120 fans, but going to buy RGB fans. One 120 is needed, but I can do either a 120 or 140 for the top. What combo should I buy? Also, what is the best placement for them (intake, ect) I dont know if the rad fans change anything.

NZXT cases are some of the best for airflow, but when using a rad, it makes airflow tricky. Putting the rad in the front will help pull in air, but the H500 series cases have a small output (only 1 vent), so you are going to want a 140 fan on the top to maximize that small vent. As for any other fans, it doesn't really matter: bigger fan = cooler system, smaller fan = less cool system.

Something I would HIGHLY consider is how long your pipes are for the rad. If you are using the rad on your processor, you should check the length from the processor to the front of case where the rad is. If the rad is too short, you'll need to find another case that has a rad spot closer to the processor.

Thanks for the reply. You said the H500 has only one output vent when I thought there were two? (Rear and Top). I don't think that changes anything, though. I don't know if I understood your second paragraph but I did a little research and I think the kraken would fit in the H500 properly.
