My build is Asus Maximus IX z270, 7700k at 4.2ghz with a NZXT Kraken x52 (got four Corsair ML120 Pro on it push / pull) mounted on front of case and got four Corsair ML120 Pro (three on top for exhaust and one on front as intake) on a PWM Hub that came with my case.

When I'm in the bios it shows I have two fans, CPU and CHA2. When I click on QFan Control the CPU Fan Profile is set on DC standard, but next to DC is has PWM. Also the CHA2 is set on DC standard as well.

What is PWM and which of the two should it be on? PWM or DC?

What is the difference between Standard, Silent, Turbo, Full Speed and Manual?

PWM = Pulse Width Modulation and that is the signal sent from the CPU fan header.

Silent - lowest RPM
Standard - slightly higher RPM
Turbo - RPM kicks up when necessary
Full Speed - self explanatory
Manual - set the speed according a specific RPM/temperature point.

CHA2 has the four case fans on it and is set to PWM turbo and no matter what I adjust the CPU settings to there is no apply button, so that would be configured in the CAM software that came with the Kraken x52 right?
