Fan Question

Hello everyone.

Quick question here. For an SLI setup, which one of these fans do you recommend?

- CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo Gaming Cooling Fan

- CoolerMaster V6 GT CPU Cooler

- Thermaltake FRIO Overclocking Cooler Fan (CLP0564)

The fans you have listed are all CPU coolers, meaning they attach directly on top of your CPU and is meant to cool solely that. It won't help with cooling of your video cards.

You should be looking for VGA coolers, which I know nothing of(never had the need since my GPUs came with decent coolers). Here's something to get started, though. http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=576&name=VGA-Cooling

My thinking was that running an sli setup would make the computer hotter than running a single card. I apologize if my question did not come out that way.

So, out of these three, which fan would do a better job of cooling my CPU?

- CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo Gaming Cooling Fan

- CoolerMaster V6 GT CPU Cooler

- Thermaltake FRIO Overclocking Cooler Fan (CLP0564)
