Fan RPM 3100 +

Hello,

My PC Configuration.

Motherboard : GA-G41MT-S2P
Processor : Core 2 Quad 8400s (65w)
Ram : DDR3 2GBx2 - 1333 (OC)

When I start computer after long time. Fan RPM start around 2100. Later after basic usage say 15-20 min. I see Fan RPM at around 3100 and seems it is going up and down till 3000+

My CPU temperature runs around 55C and when load or heat then RPM increases and after less uses RPM down to 3200+.

One thing i removed Heatsink locking button (broken) and used Nylon Zip Wire and tight all 4 corners upto good pressure. I also used heatsink properly.

Is there any besic less / more pressure required for heat sink on processor. I knotted good pressure using nylon zip wire.

If heatsink is broken, then replace the it.
There must be same pressure on all 4 corners. Not sure you can achieve that with Nylon Zip Wires.
Most likely - you have bad pressure distribution there.

Yes, but i gave good amount of pressure on all corner. I am not sure how much we can give. But i am sure that using 4 button the pressure built i gave more pressure.
