Hello everyone.
Presently, I am encountering an unusual issue with one of my case fans. Occasionally, it will suddenly run at maximum speed when the computer is at low load; in addition, RPM reads as maximum, even when the fan suddenly decides to spin back down to lower speeds on its own.
MB is a Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H Black Edition; case fans are laid out with two 140mm Silent Wings 3 and one 140mm Silent Wings 2 attached to the case's built-in 3pin voltage regulator as intake, and another two 140mm Silent Wings 3 (high speed with PWM) as exhaust, plugged into the fan slots on the motherboard, which is in turn managed through Gigabyte SIV.
