Looking for recommendations to optimize case fan configuration. Note front fans are on the AIO

Solution
I would run intakes at both and front with exhaust at back and top.

At the moment that rear exhaust is just taking the cool air from the top and dumping it straight out the back before it’s has a chance to go over the components. Same for the bottom and front fans.

I agree - intakes at bottom and front, exhausts at top and rear. In this smaller case you will have a problem with an air flow "short circuit" at top front. Air coming in via the top front fan on the rad will get pulled out immediately by the front fan on the TOP. See if you can rig up a small air diversion vane behind the top front rad fan to direct its air downwards slightly. This will help ensure air flow throughout the case before it is exhausted.
