tuniq tower 120

artic cooling freezer 7

wich one do you think is best???

is there another one better than these 2???

share your opinions...

tks

Without taking price into consideration the Tuniq Tower 120 is the clear winner, something better than the Tuniq would be the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme paired with a Scythe S-Flex fan.
Here is a Review of the Thermalright 120 Extreme

The Ultra 120 Extreme isn't out yet. But you can pick a Thermalright Ultra 120 which performs very similarly to the Tuniq but with the ability to pair it up with any fan you choose you can get superior performance or quietness. One of the better options is the Scythe S-flex. Either choice is a good one.

sooo ur saing that Scythe S-flex is the best cooler???

i want the BEST fan-cooler there is on HEARTH.... doesn't matter the price=)

...sooo wich one should i buy=)

tks =)

The best retail hsf on the market right now is the Tuniq Tower 120 paired with a high cfm fan (or 3). When the Ultra 120+ is released it'll be the best.

Of course, there's also the TEC coolers, such as the Titan Amanda, Vigor Monsoon II, and Ultra ChillTec. They all cost about $150, and will give you better performace then a Tuniq Tower or Ultra 120+ ever could. I wouldnt classify them as a hsf though.

The Tuniq Tower 120 or the Thermalright Ultra 120 perform identically and are the best air cooling you will find without the use of TECs. The advantage with the Ultra 120 is it doesn't come with a fan, so you can choose any fan you want, whether that be a very high performance(cfm) fan, or a low noise fan. The Tuniq Tower 120 already comes with a fan, a decent one though, but with that you waste money if you were already going to change it out for a better fan. If you want the best air cooler then i would just wait for the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and pair it with a Scythe S-flex fan, or if you wanted you could get some other very high cfm, although loud, fans.

tks..

well i have AMD 4200+ X2 (socket AM2) with the stock cooler its running 55C

its too hot for me... so i wanna change it... wich CPU cooler would be the BEST for my AMD... i thinking about O'Clocking it but with 55C at stock i can't...

i want the best cooler there is right now for my pc... (don't want water cooling sytem). and i don't care much about the noise! (eg. i prefer 20C with a lot of noise instead of 30C with no noise at all) get the idea? performance matters most to me...
what are your sugestions=)??

tks =)

I would suggest the Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme or the Thermalright IFX-14. The IFX-14 looks really cool to me :lol: But if you can't wait for these 2 products, you can get the Ultra-120 instead. I think I read that its on the Top 5 best air coolers in the market. Just my 0.02

Dont get the Silverstone fan, Ive heard it doesnt perform nearly as well as Silverstone says, only about 80CFM.

Instead, get two Delta GFB1212VHW's (220 CFM) and rig put one of them on each side of the cooler. It'll require some modding to do. Buy cable ties. Lots of 'em.

Cheapest place I can find 'em is at SideWinderComputers, they have a video of the fan in action as well.

Those and a Thermalright Ultra 120 will give you the best cooling performance, atleast within a sane monetary level, if you dont want to use a TEC, chilled liquid, phase change, or water cooling system.

Any of the aftermarket coolers recommended here will be good. Remember, though, that the coolers can do no better than approach the temperatures of the air that blows over them. Without knowing the internal case temperatures , VGA card, and case, I suspect that the improvement you seek will be disappointing. The vga card has superceeded the CPU as the biggest heat generating component. If you don't get the hot air generated by the CPU and the VGA card out of the case efficiently, then the heat just builds up inside and you get high CPU temperatures.
You might find it most effective for step 2 to change to a well ventilated case like the Antec 900.

Thermalright FTW.
I use the SI-120 with Silverstone FM-121 fans on both them and CM Stacker TO-1 case...Optrons with 950Mhz OC run just 2C over room temps!

What Cooler are you referring to? The Thermalright Ultra 120 or the Tuniq 120, if you head over to Anandtech.com, they have done a massive cumulative review of cpu coolers through a standard test of a x6800. So far the Thermalright 120 Extreme paired with a Scythe s-flex, has proven to be the best air cooler thus far, but they are still review more coolers.

I just got mine Amanda fo $ 85,86 :trophy: :roll: I am confused what to use-the AS 5 or the bundled one-two guys at xtremesystems forums advise different things...Just remember to put a 60mm Vantec Stealth over the mosfet (PWMs), they say.One guy said that he got 7C drop at load when using AS5 over the bundled paste. :?:
