Good afternoon,

My specs are in signature.
his is my fist desktop and I noticed that when my screen turns off (programmed to do so after 3 min of inactivity ) , fans become louder than when Im using it. In normal use my fans (case/cpu) spin between 600 and 1100 rpm which I consider silent. when screen turns of they become quite loud but I didnt monitor the exact rmp.
I set my fans (case / cpu) to silent mode in bios. Screen turns of after 3 minutes . sleep mode is disabled . these are the only settings I'm aware of.

Is there a setting to let me stop this from happening ?

Try reinstalling your GPU drivers after using DDU to wipe the platform clean off of the existing GPU driver. Does what you've stated only happen when your display shuts off and is gone when the display comes back alive?
I tried DDU and that didnt solve the problem.

Yes it does only then. It is like cpu is working on something quite intensive when my screen shuts off.
I want to precise that my screen shutting off is an option I set willingly in windows. The fans increasing is what bothers me.

Could you list the specs to your build? Sig space specs tend to change over time, making this thread and any possible suggestions moot to the person in the same boat as you're in now.
