Fan speed of XFX ATI Radeon 4890 1 GB card

I have just increased my card's fan speed 5%. The default fan speed is 50% which is not enough to cool down 4890 1 gb card (In default mood temperature is 61 to 63 Celsius) as I had several overheating issues which caused system freezes. After increasing the speed the temperature significantly go down to 47 to 48 Celsius. I want to keep the fan speed on 55%.

But ATI CCC warned me that increasing fan speed could reduce the span of GPU'S fan life. 😱

So can I ran my card for next 2.5 to 3 years with 55% (if required 60%) speed without any fan life problem?

And is the new temperature (47% to 48%) will get rid off overheating issues?

Well No one can say whether the fan will last 3 years or not.It may even die tomorrow(I hope not).

Don't worry about this. It will last that long easily.
Even at 100% fan speed it will last that long.

That is false..... You can run the fan at whatever speed you want for as long as you want and it should hold up fine..... And even if this was true.... You have an XFX so there is nothing to worry about....

i don't know how your system was overheating but it wasn't your card, the temps are ok for the 4890

The card causes serial devices to overheat which causes overall system to overheat. And system freezes intermittently (while browsing) and freezes completely while playing game (after playing for 5 to 6 hours).

If it was not card, then what causing this problem? Any other thoughts?

61 to 63c in normal operating temps for that card.... If the card is exhausting the hot air out of the back of your case then the card has nothing to do with the heat that you have inside the case.... What other "Devices" are overheating?

With 55% of fan speed HWMonitor shows 48 to 49 Celsius temp and in default fan speed it shows 61 to 63 Celsius of Graphics card .

Processor 37 to 38 Celsius (With 55% of fan speed)

HDD 33 Celsius (With 55% of fan speed)

I tested my system with all the benchmark software in past. It did not make any difference and still it is not.
