So when i first turn on my PC in the morning 2 days in a row now the PC fans (they sound like GPU fans but not sure could be all of them), they ramp up to max and i get no start up at all, i have to hold the power button to turn it off then turn it on again and its fine after that. Any idea what might cause this?

Edit: so i edited my GPU Fan speed to max for a few seconds and yeah the sound is louder in the morning.
I think all fans are going when it happens.

My computer specs:

Motherboard: MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI
CPU: Intel Core i9 10900K @ 5.1ghz

GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
RAM: 64GB 3000 Mhz DDR4
Monitors: IPS226 (1920x1080@60Hz) + VG279 (1920x1080@144Hz)

Storage
465GB Seagate ST3500312CS ATA Device (SATA)
931GB MD10000-NSDW-RO ATA Device (SATA)

try resetting your BIOS to optimized defaults.
see if the system begins to boot & post with no problem.

i would then check on system-wide temperatures to ensure the ramped up RPMs aren't trying to fight any abnormally high temps.

what, if anything, are you using to control and monitor fan speeds?
do you have custom fan profiles/curves in place?

i will give the re-setting bios a shot, generally my temps sit at 30c to 40c all round the system,

but i dont see any component getting that hot in the moment of power on when the system has been off all night, it quite unlikly imo,

yes im using MSI after burner to control my Fan speeds at certain temps, Temp / fan speed set to 35 /35 45/45 55/55 70/80 100/100

I do NOT use any overclocking of any sort at all only what comes stock the GPU and CPU is set to

so you don't know if it's other case/cooler fans that may be ramping up when the system starts?

if it was only GPU fans it could possibly be an issue with the motherboard's PCIe slot or some other issue with the GPU getting bad data upon POST.

narrowing down which exact fans are ramping up and creating the noise could help with further identifying the cause of the problem.

sorry its been a few day but it hasn't happened again it rather odd i was gunna do a bios reset soon as i nees exactly what was ranping up, but it just hasn't happend it is rather odd
