Question Fan Speeds

So I've had my PC for 2.5 years, recently whilst playing games every 10-20 seconds the fans would have a burst of higher noise/speed. I'm not sure which fans but wondering is this a problem or a fix for this?

You probably set your fans control mode to automatic, the fans speed may vary depending on CPU temperature (CPU high => noisy, CPU low => quiet).
