Fan Splitter not working properly.

I recently got a tuf b450m-plus gaming motherboard but when I connect the fan splitter only one of my case fans work. I tested the fan header with only one fan and it worked fine. Is it because I have the fans set to max instead of low? I will test the fan splitter on low but does anyone else have any other suggestions? I have at least 7 fans including the CPU and I can only use 3 as of right now.

Solution
According to the asus site, your MB has 1x cpu-fan + 2X cha_fan headers. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF-B450M-PLUS-GAMING/specifications/

And keep in mind, the 2X cha_fan should be able to out put 1Amp on each only ( I don't check the manual, so maybe I am wrong, you should check it out). If you add too many fans on one cha_fan header, eg more than 1Amp, you will kill the fan header and the MB. Also check your fans specification first to make sure you will not kill the fan header and the MB, then don't try to use the maximus, because they will draw more power too when they run at the higher speed.
