Hi I have a 8950u card, and would like to know if anyone knows how to test
the fast on it

the fan only come on if it gets to HOT,

Is it supposed to do that? I thought that on that card it was supposed
to be on at a lower speed during 2D and then speed up during the
running of 3D games.

You could always try using a hairdryer to warm up the card and see if the fan
comes on.

There is a reg hack the will force the fan on at all times regardless if
it's 2D or 3D operations. It's "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA
