Hello everyone. I'm having a lot of laptop trouble, hope you can help.
Since I got it, my laptop's fan was pretty loud, but I didn't mind, it kept everything cool and working. But about 2 weeks ago, the fans became pretty much completely silent.
The fans are still working cause I can feel the air coming out, but it's as if it's working at half speed. Also it doesn't speed up when there's extra workload, it just shuts down.
The hottest it's gotten, that I could see before it turned off, is 120c, but I don't know if that was Speccy just exaggerating.
I've looked everywhere but I can't find anything that can help. I've tried SpeedFan and HWinFo but none of the recognize the fan. Also, being a state given laptop, it doesn't let me access the BIOS.
The laptop works, but anything bigger than just a word documents makes it VERY hot.
