Fans and LEDs turn on then everything shuts off.

I've had my laptop for a while, a Dell Latitude E6500, and I have no problems with it at all. At the end of last year, I turned it on one day, in the morning, and it worked perfectly fine, when I go to school the same day and turn it on, it doesn't. The LEDs turned on, the fans turned on, and it all stayed on for a few seconds and everything shut off. This all happened in the span of a few hours, from good to broken.

I've looked around the internet, the problem seems pretty common, but nothing has worked. I've tried to take out the CMOS battery for 10 minutes and put it back, nothing. I've replaced the CMOS battery, nothing. But, one time when I randomly turned it on, it said that date/time settings weren't correct, etc. then turned off again...

Sounds like the motherboard is bad, most likely issue. You can try different RAM also.
