Hi I recently bought a computer which you can find the spec of here - http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/nextday/nd5000/step1.html

The fans are super loud when i play games. Is it because the case is so small that it is making the fans work extra harder and that is the cause of the loudness? When i say loud i mean really loud, even my old man was making jokes it was that loud. I have to turn up my headphones sound in a game loud so i can't hear it anymore. The temps are all fine and i even tried removing the OCing to see if it made a difference and the difference wasn't massive. Help please i don't know what to do.

I have 3 fans from what i can see not including my gpu fans. the noise seems to be coming from the Corsair H80i Liquid Cooling fan the most but also the front case fan on the psu. I can't afford to spend money on something if it's not gonna 100% fix the noise.

okay ill try that, its definatly coming from the corsair cooling fan i can confirm now but it still sounds fine but just like it spinning at full speed when i play a game even though the cpu doesn't go above 45. I've tried programs to reduce the speed of it but it doesn't seem to slow down for some reason.

Okay i opened it up and cleaned and checked the fans when i turned it on and all that jazz. The corsair fan spins alot faster than any of the other fans atleast twice as fast. But i read alot of reviews on the corsair cooling fan and all everyone says is its really quiet. I dunno what else to do, i tried turning the fan down in the bios and on certain programs but it doesnt respond to it.

Okay i found out that the cpu is always running between 2100-3500rpm, which is fast im guessing because all other fans are running around 300-900rpm. Now i just need to find out how to bloody reduce the rpm on it, speed fan isnt picking up any of my fans 🙁.

Oh i'm soooo happy right now, I finally found out how to fix corsair link and reduce the fan speed on my h80i. This video showed me how https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uBCLYmgcDo. Apparently there are problems for alot of windows 8.1 users who have a h80i or h100i and the simple solution showed in the video solved it for me and allowed me to update corsair link.

Thanks alot scout for trying to help me with this. I still appreciate it alot.
